Official support for Ubuntu 15.10 "Wily Werewolf" ended on July 28, 2016.
The fix for this issue will be in the 4.12 kernel. Ubuntu 17.10 "Artful Aardvark" is scheduled for release on 19th October 2017 and will be based on a 4.12 or later kernel.
