Public bug reported:
i get no sound with the on-board intel hda soundcard with the realtek alc833
chip
i've got gutsy installed but it was the same in feisty
when i look up the devices for sound it lists 2:
- HDA intel (alsa mixer)
- Realtek ALC833 (OSS mixer)
I never heard sound not even from the live cd but i'm very sure the sound card
and the speakers work
any ideas
