Since nm version 0.6.5-15 (this version included) I can't connect to my hidden
WEP-secured network. It worked fine with -14 version (the one included in Gutsy
Beta).

I use a Conceptronic C54Ri and I have never been able to connect to this
network using the rt61pci drivers contained in the kernel so I have been
using ndiswrapper for more than 4 months without any problems (Oh, and
by the way, I have tried to blacklist rt61pci but that gets ignored
every time I boot the PC so I always end up deleting the rt2x00 folder
in the linux-ubuntu-modules package every time that package gets
upgraded).However since the upgrade to nm -15 and also -16 I can't
connect to the wireless network.

The strange thing is that after having upgraded only network-manager
from Gutsy Beta to -16 version, I tried 'apt-get remove --purge'ing
network-manager and by doing " iwconfig wlan0 essid NETWORK_NAME ;
iwconfig wlan0 key HEX_PASSWD ; iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed ; dhclient
wlan0 " (all of them with sudo) the dhclient doesn't get any IP offer!

I also tried configuring the device in /etc/network/interfaces with all
those parameters and /etc/init.d/networking restart doesn't get any IP
address for the wlan0 interface...

If any further info is required, tell me so
