Public bug reported:
Booting off the Kubuntu 7.10 desktop installer (i386) I start the installation
and select my keyboard as United Kingdom.
Testing the keys in the box provided works correctly with the " and @ signs
mapped in the correct place, etc...
After install this setting is not used and instead I get a US layout.
