Binary package hint: xserver-xgl
I am a gutsy user, upgrading from feisty
using a geforce 2 mx400 the only way of having compiz is xgl
however xgl doesn't perform well on gutsy:
first of all, request really too much cpu to work
second, alot of other application don't work properly with xgl
(openoffice the first, then many fullscreen games dont work with xgl)
and last it shows many glitches and problems (playing a movie with totem
works properly only in fullscreen mode, in windowed mode it doesn't play
audio)
moreover it doesn't keep the keyboard settings i use and have to re-
address every time
