*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1696521 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1696521
This bug report shows that the shim package was being upgraded and at upgrade time, detected that your system had dkms modules installed for which changes were needed for the secureboot configuration on your machine. However, the package manager that you used did not allow the shim package to prompt you about this. Can you tell us how you were doing this upgrade, i.e. what software you were using? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1698015 Title: package shim-signed 1.28~16.04.1+0.9+1474479173.6c180c6-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shim-signed/+bug/1698015/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
