I have just installed the new Linux 4.12 kernel. My ELAN touchpad is still completely dead. Additionally my wifi stopped working too and I'm also getting 'Firmware Bug' message regarding "tpm_crb MSFT0101:00". Please find attached the complete dmesg output file.
