Public bug reported:

My Specs:
HP a1540n
AMD 64 duo core with one 250G sata drive.

On both i386 and 64 version of Knot3 I can boot only intermittently.
I get 2 kinds of errors:
The first simply says grub- and stops there right after power up and bios.
The second says - cylinder exceeds maximum supported by bios.

Both of these boot errors can be alleviated by powering down and on
again, then it boots normally. I seem to have this problem more often if
PC has been off for a period of of time (overnight) I cant be too sure
about the time it is off though.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
