Hi Serguei,

I was in a hurry and didn't write down the file name. I believe it was a
hidden file in the home directory and had the word "menu" somewhere in
the filename. Look for a file like that; open it up and look inside, you
will see one or more name(s) of some application. Just delete the file
entirely, then the menu problem will go away.

Hope that helps, I need to start recording things like that. I just
tried a few web searches and didn't find anything.

This problem occured to me after I upgraded to Ubuntu 7.10.
So which file do I delete in order to see the Applications menu?
Thanks,

Serguei
