Public bug reported:

This was last observed here:
https://objectstorage.prodstack4-5.canonical.com/v1/AUTH_77e2ada1e7a84929a74ba3b87153c0ac/autopkgtest-artful/artful/armhf/n/nginx/20170714_103942_95833@/log.gz

I was told by rbasak to file a bug against debhelper.

Apparently, the autopkgtests here are run, but because of some type of
error the nginx service can't get set up for nginx-core. As a result,
the system pulls systemctl log data. The ellipsized format of the logs,
however, doesn't help to debug things. It needs the full log output.
This is done usually by `systemctl -l status` instead, which doesn't
ellipsize or shorten the log output to 'fit the window'.

Robie suggested this may be an issue in dh_systemd.
