That's exactly what was done in the most recent version: echo "Samba is not being run as an AD Domain Controller, masking samba-ad-dc-service." echo "Please ignore the following error about deb-systemd-helper not finding samba-ad-dc-service." I agree it's not optimal, and we should probably keep this bug open because of that. But it's definitely not a fatal error, and if something broke, the real error is elsewhere. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1610361 Title: /usr/bin/deb-systemd-helper: error: systemctl preset failed on samba- ad-dc.service: No such file or directory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1610361/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
