I can confirm this problem. I've also found a related discussion on the gnucash mailing list:
https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash- user/2007-September/021725.html One problem is that the account tabs doesn't render properly. Another problem is that you can't enter a date in an account tab by hand. To make things worse, the calendar date picker doesn't work very well. Combined, all these problems makes gnucash more or less unusable with compiz. (Or perhaps it is more correct to say "with xgl"?) However, the source of the problem, as hinted in the mailing list discussion linked above, may be gnucash' use of gnome-canvas, which the gnucash developers admit is not good. This part of the gnucash code is apparently under rewrite. This bug probably got more urgent by an order of magnitude now that Gutsy went from beta to officially launched. I have notified the gnucash community of that. -- Incorrect rendering of account tabs under XGL and Compiz https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
