Hi, that seems to be a case of bug 1357682 or bug 1270597. Not sure how/why it shows up for you again, but there is an easy workaround to fix up your local system.
$ sudo update-alternatives --remove postmaster.1.gz /usr/share/postgresql/9.1/man/man1/postmaster.1.gz $ sudo apt-get install -f That should fix the upgrade and work after that. Seems to be an issue in the old 9.1 postgres package which is gone after your dist-upgrade to trusty. Here a link about the context https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /postgresql-common/+bug/1357682/comments/4 Marking incomplete assuming it is a local setup issue that you can fix with above workaround. Please reopen and provide more detail if it does not. ** Changed in: postgresql-9.3 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1705380 Title: package postgresql-client-9.3 9.3.17-0ubuntu0.14.04 failed to install/upgrade: sub-processo script post-installation instalado retornou estado de saída de erro 2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postgresql-9.3/+bug/1705380/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
