Running Ubuntu 7.04 I upgraded some (I forget what) packages and started upgrading to 7.10 ubuntu which failed because it didn't like the wine pkg, but may have upgraded some stuff. but I am still running 7.04.
But now wine takes (literally) 5 minutes to bring up the Dreamweaver .exe. It used to be MUCH faster even than a real Windows system in bringing up and executing Windows programs on this computer. So it is not a hardware program. And some programs that ran under wine are broken. So I reinstalled Wine 0.9.47 i386 but that didn't help. So I went back to Wine 0.9.46 i386 but that didn't help.
