Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-base

OpenOffice looks like it has a dependency on GNU Java.

I have Sun's JDK installed. I do not want to install GNU Java: (1) it
conflics with Sun's Java on the same machine; (2) I have had problems in
the past with GNU Java and Azureus; and (3) I do not want to use up the
drive space with two versions of Java, when one will suffice.

While the dependency on Java for OpenOffice is fine, the dependency on a
specific version of Java is not. And this doesn't even begin to touch
upon the "write once, run anywhere" promise of JVMs.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
