classic is a feature the snap developer has to set at snap creation time
(and means all snap security will be dropped), the brave snap is
(luckily) not classic but seems to use strict confinement proper, so you
can not "just refresh to classic" here ...

In case the developer would decide to switch his apps confinement over
to classic you could use this comandline option (since auto-refresh from
strict snaps to classic is disabled for security reasons) to force a
refresh.

The help text should probably be a bit clearer here, but as you can see
above it is complex to explain ...

If you just want to turn off confinement in a strict snap you should use
--devmode ...
