Public bug reported: ubuntu-desktop package depends on gnome-session-canberra package in such a way that it's impossible to remove gnome-session-canberra without removing ubuntu-desktop. This is wrong, as aforementioned package contains only few loud sounds to be played at system start, and is not an essential part of Ubuntu Desktop.
I think it should be in 'recommends' section, not in 'depends'.
