Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati
I run a script which uses the new xrandr features to setup my video outputs depending on whether or not my iBook (with a Radeon 9200) has an external monitor connected. As part of this process, the script will run "xgamma -gamma 0.65" to make the picture look better on my external display. On resume from sleep, it seems that the output is reverted to a gamma of 1.0. If I run xgamma with no arguments, it reports that the gamma is 0.65, as it should be, but the picture tells a different story. I have to run "xgamma -gamma 0.65" again for the display to look correct again. I supose that X still thinks the gamma is 0.65, but the radeon driver has not restored this value after resume. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-ati (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gamma setting is lost after suspend/resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155735 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
