I cannot reproduce this bug on build 20170910 and the steps described.
Could you please confirm this bug with the latest image and provide any
additional step that would help reproducing this issue?
When you'll try to reproduce, can you please start ubiquity from the command
line with the command: ubiquity -d
Then after installation run following the command to add more information to
this report:
apport-collect 1716158
