re-start successful. Scanned logs, saw no errors related to "Kernel" Other errors mostly to do with network identification, finding sockets and such which are out of my field of expertise.
Since there has been no Ubuntu operational problems on this computer in the weeks since the last time this error occurred and no large or fatal errors in the logs, all other errors having been handled with out complications, I have the following question. Could the "subprocess installed post-installation script" that "returned error exit status 1" be the problem itself? That is, is it reporting the wrong exit status because of a typo, or other type of error in its code? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1685383 Title: package nfs-kernel-server 1:1.2.8-9ubuntu12.1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nfs-utils/+bug/1685383/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
