Manufacturer of the Touchpad - Synaptics Release of Ubuntu - Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS When the symptom first appeared - After my new installation. Issue Description - For the first couple of minutes after booting, the touchpad is working fine and then it is not working properly. There is an extreme lag in the touchpad. I tried rebooting the machine a number of times and its the same problem everytime.
