running kernel 4.8.0-53-generic, ubuntu 16.04.1 based Peppermint 8 The machine connected to 5G signals flawlessly running windows and previous kernels, but the firmware bucks on connection to 5G signals. it tries to load a few .ucode firmwares before settling on -22.
