I had the same problem with white borders, when I maximized the window or resized it to a size larger than my screen, the borders and title bar became thick and white. But with the normal size everything was fine. I have Radeon 7500 on my laptop, and gutsy is installed. Everything was fine but after the latest upgrade the problem appears, however the drirc thing worked for me and now everything is fine. I have attached the screenshots. Thanks.
