I too still have random computer shutdowns without logs. Uptime varies from a couple days to a week or so. It happens it seems after being relatively idle for a long period. I do have high memory usage because of the VMs I run.
I've disabled C-states, cool and quiet, tested memory, and so forth. I also compiled a new kernel as mentioned by Stuart. I do not have segfaults with compilations. I am willing to run tests and provide info. Please let me know if anyone wants something.
