Hmm, but why Ubuntu's version worked once after running upstream's
redeclipse.sh (not as root) and why Ubuntu's version stopped to work
after restarting of it? Maybe some environment variables that links to
upstream release dir?

I don't know the answer, but I hope this question will be helpful in
future.
