I've informed the maintainer of the compiler maxima was compiled with. In the meantime I can recommend wxMaxima to you (which has its own autocompletion that isn't affected by this bug) - or to - uninstall maxima - install the package maxima-common from https://sourceforge.net/projects/maxima/files/Maxima-Linux/5.41.0-Linux/ - install the package maxima-sbcl from the same location.
This package should (depending on the problem) be more or less as fast as the maxima you have currently installed and it should not have the autocompletion bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/825243 Title: tab completion converts input to uppercase To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/maxima/+bug/825243/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
