Update: I have fully tested on the latest release of Ubuntu (17.10) It seems there has been some improvement. I can now suspend and shutdown without a problem and the battery is recognized!
Stability is not quite what it should be though - sometimes gnome becomes unresponsive and crashes and when I press the power button to resume from standby it turns on only to go back to sleep right away. The audio card seems to randomly disappear too. I have to open a terminal and use Alsa to manually select and turn up the audio. The battery indicator is good, but this still needs work. ** Tags added: artful -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1569995 Title: ACPI support Intel Cherry Trail To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/acpi/+bug/1569995/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
