You do not need to remove the listed packages, if you have enabled the universe repository. Even if you want to remove them, because they are no longer in the "main" repository, you should probably do so _after_ the upgrade - then the dependencies should be fixed e.g. for OOo, so that it won't get removed. (If I understand you correctly, you are trying to manually remove the listed packages before the update has finished)
