Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: lilo

As Lilo seems to be the standard bootloader for 7.10 (Just did a fresh install)
I want to speak my concern about the look of it. As Ubuntu positions itself as
linux for Human beings and in my opinion that means it has to look good. I
found understanding things which in my opinion are not compatible with the way
Ubuntu wants to profile itself.
Lilo doesn't load ubuntu with a splash screen, witch means you see all those
code running through your screen.
I saw that Lilo has the Debian menuscreens, but no Ubuntu menuscreen.
The way Lilo loads Linux (with a lot of dots....) Looks realy old fashioned.
Maybe a choice of bootloader in the installer would be nice.

** Affects: lilo (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
