Public bug reported:

[Impact]

New upstream bugfix release, upstream changelog:

libinput 1.8.3 is now available. Two user-visible fixes: The Wacom Mobile
Studio Pro pad device was previously ignored because of its accelerometer
tag, this is fixed now. And touchpads that are explicitly disabled by the
user now stay disabled after a lid open event.

The rest is all related to the test suite to make sure it still runs
correctly. Finally, a stray printf was removed from libinput-debug-events.

Peter Hutterer (10):
tools: remove a leftover debug printf statement
test: remove leftover sleep() for debugging in lid switch test
test: fix pad ring test for small pad ranges
evdev: accept accelerometers if they are tagged as other devices too
touchpad: don't resume a disabled touchpad
include: sync linux kernel header files with 4.12
evdev: update key type check for new key defines
test: fix the 'all codes' keyboard device
Fix make distcheck for missing input-event-codes.h
      configure.ac: libinput 1.8.3

libinput 1.8.4 is now available. This is likely the last release for the
1.8 series. A few coverity and meson fixes, the user-visible fixes are
only two: an infinite loop triggered by opening and closing the lid while typing
is fixed now. And touchpad palm edge zones are now limited to a maximum
width of 8mm - on large touchpads they could go beyond that, impeding the
use of the touchpad.

Also snuck in is a change to the device group assignment, this paves the way
for the Dell Canvas 27 where the touch and the tablet are on altogether
different devices and can thus have different versions of the driver.

Benjamin Tissoires (1):
udev: drop the version field in device groups

Peter Hutterer (11):
      test: silence a coverity warning
lid: mark the write return value as unused
      evdev: fix a coverity warning
      Fix meson options default values
tools: restore default permissions for a source file
test: unref the litest device *after* removing it from the path interface
util: add an extra assert for list_insert()
touchpad: cap the edge palm detection zones at 8mm
      meson: require GTK 3.20
fallback: fix lid switch event listener being initialized twice
      configure.ac: libinput 1.8.4

[Test case]

Test normal desktop use with a mouse/touchpad/touch panel/tablet.

[Regression potential]

Pretty minimal, these are bugfix backports from the master branch.
