Hello Jarek, or anyone else affected, Accepted virtualbox-hwe into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox- hwe/5.0.40-dfsg-0ubuntu1.16.04.1~16.04.4 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
