Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

I followed the instructions in
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GutsyUpgrades#head-
f2435a45758bb5836f8e5b87e90045463f8c6ec7 to upgrade a server hosted in
slicehost (I had previously upgraded the -mostly- empty server from
dapper to edgy and from edgy to feisty without a hitch... but added a
few packages after the feisty upgrade).

As do-release-upgrade complained about no longer manteined packages, I
tried to remove all of those, but one (liblzo1) was reinstalled when I
reinstalled update-manager-core.

Anyway, browsing the logs, the update-manager seems to be complaining
about it not being able to identify my ubuntu version because none of
the *buntu-desktop is installed (which is logical, since I use NO
DESKTOP AT ALL, cause this is a server).

Could not calculate the upgrade
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
