Public bug reported: Intermittently the results are blank or just a white place holder. Just above where the files should be listed shows X number of files but none are shown in the search result box. To remedy this I found I can run the search button again and then the results will show. My installed version is 3.6.0-1(trusty) for Ubuntu-Gnome 14.04.5 LTS [4.4.0-101-generic], However the problem has been present across multiple updates as far back as 36. This problem seems to be more persistent when run with sudo permissions, that I use often as too many results are excluded for files owned by "root" Thanks James N
