Oh, I overlooked this line earlier: UUID=8aabde98-3975-4771-908e-a0c42dfe4c96 /boot/efi ext4 defaults 0 1
an EFI System Partition *must* be a vfat partition. I don't know how you came to have this as an ext4 mountpoint. Does 'sudo fdisk -l' show partitions of type 'EF' (or 'EF00', if GPT) on your system? If you're booting under UEFI, this partition must be there; you just need to find it, and put it into your fstab in place of the current entries. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1736080 Title: package shim-signed 1.32~16.04.1+0.9+1474479173.6c180c6-1ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shim-signed/+bug/1736080/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
