Thanks, Kev, Let me attempt to clear my case.
Coming from Ubuntu with Unity/GNOME, I got used to audio feedback. The volume without headphones and headphones is not the same. Once I plug in my headphones, I noticed that it uses a different volume setting The other day, I was on a Hangouts call. I didn't hear the other person. I wasn't sure if the problem was on his side or if I had broken headphones. Having audio feedback when changing the volume while on headphones is an easy and simple way to confirm that your audio settings are fine and that your headphones are working. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1735678 Title: Suggestion to produce a sound when increasing or lowering the volume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin/+bug/1735678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
