Thanks for sharing this.  This is not a fwupd bug, but a firmware bug.
I believe the root cause to be a clash in the ESRT GUID between these two 
machines.

Until the firmware bug is resolved please blacklist the device using the
blacklist option in /etc/fwupd/daemon.conf to prevent trying to apply
this update when running fwupdmgr update.

I'll ping the appropriate folks internally at Dell, but please feel free
to open a support case as well and reference this bug if you need to.
