Same here: I just lost my keyboard shortcuts for workspace switching. None of the workarounds works for me.
System: Ubuntu 16.04 Everything worked fine until 2 or 3 days ago. I first run into the problem that new windows were created with their top and left edge hidden behind the menu and launcher bar. I then installed ccsm to correct this problem. This in fact worked but now the CTRL - ALT - arrow workspace switching (as well as a custom shortcut for moving Windows between workspaces) stopped working.
