Public bug reported: Kdenlive 0.9.6-5ubuntu1 is installed on an Asus Chromebook running Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS under crouton with the xfce desktop. Kdenlive was installed with apt-get install kdenlive, and there were no issues with the installation. The goal is to produce a video with two video clips and one audio clip. One clip is a flute and the other clip is a guitar, to place flute in upper left in larger window and guitar in lower right in smaller window. Both clips had Crop, Scale and Postion effect applied, and were separately cropped, scaled, and positioned. The second clip was cropped, scaled and positioned by hiding the first clip. The clips do not overlap when viewed individually in the Project Monitor. When clip 1 was unhidden, I expected both clips to appear in their respective position, but when clip 1 is unhidden, clip 2 does not appear in the Project Monitor. The second clip only appears on the Project Monitor when the first clip is hidden. There appears to be no way to make both clips visible on the Project Monitor at the same time. So are, everything other than this effect seem to be working OK.
