Several times on Kubuntu 17.04 I've been able to login: I've logged-in as same user into new session -> logged out -> logged into virtual console through Alt+Ctrl+F1 -> logged-in here -> logged-out with exit command -> came back to login screen with Alt+Ctrl+F7 -> tried several times to log-in into first session with no success -> after waiting 4-5 minutes I logged in at last. Do not know it's working all the time.
