We can perform a "Reverse" kernel bisect to identify the commit that
fixes this bug in mainline.  We first need to identify the last kernel
version that had the bug and the first kernel that did no.

Can you test the following two kernels:
v4.14-rc1: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.14-rc1/
v4.15-rc1: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.15-rc1/
