Public bug reported: The resolution of bug #1735362 includes upgrading of the fcitx-libpinyin and libpinyin source packages by syncing from Debian experimental. The new version of fcitx-libpinyin takes over the functionality of fcitx- zhuyin, and the new version of libpinyin takes over the functionality of libzhuyin.
Debian is about to drop fcitx-zhuyin and libzhuyin: https://lists.debian.org/debian-input-method/2018/01/msg00014.html However, to move bug #1735362 forward there is a need to remove them in bionic before they have been removed from sid.
