Bug affects me on Acer Aspire One ZG5; Intel Graphics is GMA 950 however. 4.13.0-32-generic Xubuntu 16.04.3 LTS Grub Version 2.02~beta2-36ubuntu3.15
Easy Workaround: On boot hit F1 for Grub menu and hit enter (first entry for newest generic kernel). I did not change anything in the grub parameters (some people suggest 'text' parameter).
