Public bug reported: Release: Ubuntu 17.10 Version: 5.10.5.1-0ubuntu2
What was expected: Locking the desktop should show the .face.icon file for the current user on the lock screen. What happens: If the user is authenticated via Active Directory, the user's .face.icon file is not used - it shows the default icon instead. Perhaps kscreenlocker is confused about the correct path to the .face | .face.icon file. The users home directory in this setup will be in /home/DOMAIN/userid, and $HOME points to that location. .face and .face.icon both exist in the user directories, and the authorities are set so that everyone has read access. Locally defined users on the same system show the face avatar correctly. ** Affects: kscreenlocker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1750677 Title: Default avatar shown for Active Directory users To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kscreenlocker/+bug/1750677/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
