Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

after a while ubuntu is running (usually a few hours) nautilus stops showing up
(both invoked graphically or from command line). So i run "top" to discover
that nautilus is asking for 97-98% CPU.
I can post a screenshot of "top" output if you care. This happens often (every
time i run ubuntu) and the process seems to be accellerated if i run NetBeans
or Eclipse (but not ArgoUML or Tomcat or appletviewer for example). Though, I
don't think Java is the problem because i can test on a minimal installation
that Java works fine. The same happens on two machines i use, one is a AMD64,
the other a Core 2 Duo (x86 this time).

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
