@James Donald (jdonald) thanks for your reply .All you say is very interesting by my remark is that I think ubuntu do not cross compile firefox for armhf , they just use a aarch64 (arm 64 bit ) kernel and they run a armhf Ubuntu . I 'm not the expert but from what I talked to others they said it is nto cross compiled and like you said earlier it also say in build logs : checking whether cross compiling... no If you can help with what mods are required to make it compile with clang I can try to compile it in a armhf Ubuntu 16.04 . I'm not a expert, initialy I wanted to try to cross compile it in a x64 intel machine .But I failed to cross compile it for armhf .
