Hi, thank you for dealing with this matter. But before performing this I would like to know why this may be necessary because I regularly do "dist-upgrade"s, and -- on the other hand -- I am not sure that I could report on results (what results?) since this bug happens only rarely (only once during the last few weeks, If I remember it correctly) and is not predictable.
