+ [gutsy]wireless disabled & wireless led still keep flashing

** Description changed:

  Hi,

The wireless LED(wireless status) does not work correctly on 7.10 in my
laptop. After wireless function disabled, wireless LED still keep
flashing at interval of 2 seconds. I have done a quick test by enabling
and then disabling the wireless function in knetworkmanager.
Surprisingly, the LED kept flashing even much more quickly without
stop(go crazy...)after the wireless function disabled. I had to restart
the system. it now keeps flashing at interval of 2 seconds as usual
  after the system is rebooted.

- My laptop has no hardware switch to indicate wireless status. I am using
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG and 2.6.22 on gutsy with all updates.
+ I always turn wireless off to save power if the wireless function is not
used. My laptop has no hardware switch to indicate wireless status, so the LED
is the only hardware to indicate the wireless status. I am using Intel
PRO/Wireless 3945ABG and 2.6.22 on gutsy with all updates.

Has Anyone got the same problem?
