i have kubuntu 7.10 desktop amd64, on a dell vostro 1500 laptop with core 2 duo
cpu and nvidia geforce 8400m gs graphics card
Wine is already installed. however -in system menu- when i go to System
Settings>Advanced>Windows Applications it shows a message saying "it appears
that you do not have wine installed. ... would you like to install it? Yes No".
It tries to install but it is already there so apt or dpkg does not do
anything, and then the Windows Applications section come with "it apeears that
you do not have wine installed. please install wine package".
