Sorry, I didn't notice that the fix is pre-released. It's available in
gutsy-proposed updates.

To get it you should enable gutsy-proposed updates in System >
Administration > Software sources on "Updates" tab. Then update
manager will tell you that update for libc6 package available and you
could install it.
