I see the exact same boot log as Marc Dziadek above, and I can't find this recorded anywhere on next boot either.
It has been asked before here: "Is it possible to test 4.15 from bionic-proposed on xenial?" Can anyone offer input on this? I know how to add xenial's proposed repository; is it safe to just substitute "bionic" in that line in sources.list?
